MCTI is an accredited training program through the nationally recognized NCCER curricula for each trade. By using input from teams of trade experts, NCCER ensures they cover every class, every detail, the right way. Partnering with Pearson, they make sure the lessons are organized in the best way for students to learn and retain the information.
From layout to installation, plasma arc cutting to crew leadership, the sheet metal program equips you with a variety of job skills to make you a master in all things sheet metal.
Whether you like welding, calculating offsets or learning how to safely perform a hot tap, the piping program takes you through every aspect of pipefitting in detail.
From refrigerant systems to hydronics, residential to commercial sites, air handlers the size of 18-wheelers to air distribution out of a single grille; the HVAC/Start-Up Program endows you with specialized skills in design principles and environmental knowledge needed for every aspect of industry success.
Uncover your master craftsman in the plumbing program as you install, test, and verify proper operation of domestic, sanitary, and waste piping; water pressure booster and recirculation systems; hydronic and solar heating systems; medical gas and service piping systems – fixtures and appliances.
Instruction and assessment are split between classroom work and hands-on learning. Class sizes are limited to ensure instructors are able to work one-on-one with students on a personal level – providing individualized instruction – as well as answer all questions. These small classes, combined with the knowledge and experience of our staff, give you the best chance to be successful.
The Core curriculum teaches you the industry basics. Completing Core grants you OSHA-10 certification for safety. After Core, each trade has four levels of material that is organized in such a way that you will be made immediately and increasingly valuable in the field.
Closely following the curriculum for each trade, MCTI strives to teach students not only what to do but also the right way to do it. Graduates of the program will be equipped with knowledge and experience that many industry workers never had an opportunity to gain.
